

JP worked side-by-side with his father for over 20 years in their Auto Body & Paint Repair business. JP was a Marine Veteran, which he held dear to his heart. He was a member of Lawrenceburg TN Elk’s Lodge for 20 years, where he made several everlasting friendships.
JP enjoyed golfing, cooking, playing his video games, playing cards, fishing and traveling to Oklahoma to see his family and extended family. His love for helping people always made him happy. JP loved spending time with his wife, his two precious boys, family and friends!
JP is proceeded in death by both his Paternal and Maternal Grandparents, Step-Mother Arlene Chambless and Sharon Davis Chambless.
JP is survived by his loving wife Tracie Chambless of Lawrenceburg, TN, two sons Matthew Chambless of Mustang, OK and Gabriel Chambless of Japan, Father Jerry Chambless of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Mother Ronda Beck (Norm) of Columbia, TN. Siblings, Cassie Chambless of Spring Hill, TN; Leanne Garr of Spring Hill, TN, Jim Moore (Judi) of Casper, Wyoming, John Moore (Jennifer) of Summertown, TN, Laurie Ruddle (Marshall) of Summertown, TN, Tammy Brignac (Joe) of New Orleans, LA, Melissa Orton, Cheryle Patterson and Carol Tankersly of Lawrenceburg, TN. Multiple aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces. Many friends and his Elks family. And his beloved fur babies, Kegger, Bailey and Harper!
An Elk's memorial service will be held at the Lawrenceburg Elk's Lodge on Sunday, April 19th, 2026 beginning at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family through Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home or the Lawrenceburg Elk's Lodge #2206.
