He is survived by one son Ray (Kimberly) Cox of Lawrenceburg; three brothers Bobby Gene (Brenda) Cox of Tupelo, MS, Larry Joe (June) Cox and Terry Wayne Cox both of Lawrenceburg; one sister Betty Jane (Donnie) Slater of Loretto; two grand children Jessica (Travis) Haun and Brooklyn Smith; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and the mother of his son Betty Sue Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ora Cox and Irene Wix Cox and one brother Raymond Milton Cox.
Funeral Service will be held at Graveside Sunday at Mars Hill Cemetery, June 30, 2013 at 2 pm with James Tillar officiating and interment in Mars Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Saturday, June 29, 2013 5 ~ 8 pm.
