He is survived by his wife Susan Nix of Lawrenceburg; six sons Jimmy Nix Jr.; Thomas O Nix; Anderson Nix; Charles Nix; Neal Nix and Johnny Nix all of Lawrenceburg; two daughters Sandy K. Belcher of Dickson, TN and Lisa G Weiser of Lebanon, TN; one sister Bonnie Smith of Lawrenceburg; 18 grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Nix and Opal Beard Nix.
Funeral service will be 1PM, Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel with Richard Conner officiating and burial in Second Creek Cemetery at Five Points.
Visitation will be 10aM – 8PM Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Pettus-Turbo Chapel.
