Mr. Joel Edward Risner, age 77 of Florence, AL passed away on February 27th, 2017. He was a born in Waynesboro, TN, but lived most of his life in Lawrenceburg, TN. He then moved to Fresno, CA where he raised his family before moving back. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a retired Engineer with Riley Stoker.
Survivors include his son, Randy Joel Risner; Daughter, Margaret E. Beddingfield; Brothers, Dan and Eual Risner; Sisters, Thelma Brown, Evelyn Hyde, Glenda Lamar, Wanda Risner, Teresa Fisher-Risner; and Four Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Risner; Parents, Charlie and Ruby Risner; Brother, Doyle Risner; Sister, Ava Jones.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home Chapel, Lawrenceburg, TN on Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 from 12pm -2 pm with Funeral Service to follow at 2pm.
Entombment will be Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 at 1 pm at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, VA.
