Norma Jane Pollock Lewis

Mrs. Norma Jane Pollock Lewis, age 83 of Lawrenceburg passed away on January 26, 2016. She was a native of Lawrence County, retired from Jayne’s Shoes and member of the Deerfield Baptist Church where she served as organist and was a member for seventy+ years.

She is survived by a son, Wayne Lewis (Amy); a daughter, Cheryl Augustin (Bob); five grandchildren, Emma Richardson (Todd) of Birmingham, AL; Brown Lewis of Owensboro, KY; Meghan Hamby (Trevor) of Ethridge, TN; Rob Augustin (Caitlin) of Campbellville, TN; Patrick Augustin of Lawrenceburg, TN; four great-grandchildren, Rhodes Richardson of Birmingham, AL; Amelia & Wyatt Hamby; Reed Augustin; one sister-in-law, Jane Arman of Franklin, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lewis; parents, Robert Asbury and Grace Dixon Pollock; brother, Bill Pollock and sister, Faye Burks.

Funeral Service will be held at Deerfield Baptist Church, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11 am with Tony Gordy and Patrick Augustin officiating with interment in Deerfield Baptist Church Cemetery. She will lie-in-state at the church from 9 am ~ 11 am.

Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo, Friday, January 29, 2016 from 2 ~ 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deerfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
