She is survived by her husband Kenneth Burns of Lawrenceburg; one son James Matthew Allen of Lawrenceburg; one daughter Traci Sharee Smith of Lawrenceburg; one step daughter Stella Burns of Columbia; one brother Jerry Staggs of Lawrenceburg; two sisters Dorthy Staggs Poag and Cheri Brewer both of Lawrenceburg; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her parents Matthew and Lucille Clark Staggs and two brothers Jr. Lee and Junior Staggs.
Funeral service will be at Pettus-Turnbo Chapel Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 3pm with Tony Gordy officating and interment in Crews Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home Wednesday, April 10, 2013 5pm ~ 8pm.
