Demetria, Dee to many, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who spent many of her days with her grand dogs enjoying retirement. With an infectious smile, Dee’s sense of humor could fill a room with laughter. Dee enjoyed staying connected with family and friends through Facebook, reading, and doing puzzles. Dee was an avid Chiefs fan and new fan of Austin FC.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Rodriguez and Lidia Castro; her brother, Carlos Rodriguez; and her sons, Manuel Pompa and John Sosa, Jr.
Dee is survived by her sister, Estella Rivera; her sons, Brigido Garcia, Bruce Garcia and Jesse Sosa; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and grand dogs.
