Elizabeth Gertrude Haushalter was born on September 25, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of thirteen children. She passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at home surrounded by her family in Liberty Hill, Texas at the age of 88.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Charles Haushalter; children, Elizabeth Battistello and William Haushalter; a sister, Franny Shoemake; and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Elizabeth's love of family and friends will live in our hearts for generations to come. She dedicated her life to the raising of her children and the supporting of her beloved husband. She was a league bowler in her youngers years, and an avid Steelers fan throughout her whole life. She loved playing cards, bingo and the lottery. She was a wonderful storyteller and had the most contagious laugh.
Funeral Services for Elizabeth will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home in Leander, Texas. She will be laid to rest at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill following the services.
