Auntie I will never forget all of our long talks together. I remember when I was a little girl I would come to stay with you and you would tell me stories about when you were a little girl growing up with your sisters Jean, Earnestine and Shirley . Thank you for sharing  you childhood memories with me. You would always tell me to love and take care of siblings. Auntie you will forever live in my heart. So get your rest you are free no more pain and surfing you are at peace now.

Ethel, with my brother, and I, shared a few days together. We shared laughs and memories. Ethel, cared for my grandmother for years. We were grateful for her care and love to Bertha Garland. I am sure she has a seat at the table in Heaven🙏🏽

In my father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself that where I am there you may be also.

My dear sister, its hard, I'm trying, I'm dealing with a lot of things right now.
A lot of time was wasted between us but our love for each was always there and will  remain there, I love you with all  thats in me and more.
Get your rest my love  and know that me and Earnestine will hold it down here from now on you and Jean left us with shoes to fill that can not be filled like you and her could do but know this  we will do our best and make this family strong again, im gonna end this now because the tears are flowing I love you so much and what hurts me I didnt tell you enough.
I'm glad God gave us the opportunity  to talk from time to time while you were in Texas and the times I called and didn't get an answer I worried but I will never forget that phone call I got on  Jan. 30th it tore me to peices and I will never heal from that, I love you my sweets  always

The beauty of a memory is that it’s always there,  like a penny in your pocket you can take it anywhere.
And when your heart is heavy, and your eyes are filled with tears, you can focus on a memory and travel through the years.
Your heart can visit happy times when laughter filled the air, and the presence of your loved one will lessen your despair.
So as you travel on in life, take comfort as you go, in a lifetime of sweet memories of one who love you so.

Grandma was a great impact on my life, and taught me some valuable lessons that I still hold to this day. Although she had a lot of difficult things on her mind, she did her best to not let it affect others. Now that she is free from the pain that wore her down, I pray that she is in a better place and will finally know peace.

Your love was our sunshine on the cloudiest day.
You held our hands when the world felt wide,
And taught us to walk with courage and pride.

You laughed with us, listened, and knew what to do,
No matter the moment, we could always count on you.

I will miss our weekly talks but I feel better knowing that you're not in pain or suffering. You are with those who have gone before us. You were so loved and I truly hope that you left this Earth knowing that.
