James Michael Edward Keithley was born to Sherri Worton Keithley and Jerry Keithley January 7, 1992 in Austin, Texas. He was a miracle baby prayed into existence by his grandmother Betty Joan Worton and his grandfather Johnny Michael Worton Sr. He was a brother to Shane Roberts, Josh Preece, Ian Roberts, and Trey Roberts. He was a beloved cousin to Kailee Worton Morgan and Tyler Worton.
James grew up in Cedar Park, Texas until he was 5 years old where he went to live with his father in Austin, Texas. He spent the rest of his school years there in Austin and after high school he moved back down to the Cedar Park/Leander area where he remained the rest of his years.
James was truly a light to this world. He was raised in the church and he loved the Lord. Since the time he was born he always had a big smile on his face. He loved to be silly and to make you laugh, he was fun and relatable and he never was one to get mad or angry. He was a friend to everyone and the kind of person to give the shirt off his back, helping anyone in need. He loved to please people; He would do anything to make you laugh or make you smile.
He enjoyed a variety of things like collecting pokemon, anime, disc golf and baseball. He loved all kinds of music and playing video games with his brother. He could play yahtzee for hours. He was the greatest joy to be around, everyone loved James and the world was a better place with him in it.
We don't always understand God's ways or why the good die young, but we have to trust that His ways are greater than our own. James was human just like the rest of us but he had a pure heart of gold and he desired to live a life for God. We can trust that he is in a resting place fishing with his papa and his uncle Johnny and catching up with all our loved ones who went before him. He will be greatly missed here on this Earth, the world will never be the same without him and without his smile.
Until we meet again, rest in the Lord, my sweet James.
