Jeri was born on January 22, 1948, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to William Ogdahl and Miriam Ertel. She graduated from Loyalsock High School in 1965 and went on to earn her degree from Lock Haven College in 1969.
From 1968 to 1971, Jeri served as a Lieutenant in the Women’s Army Corps. During her service, she met her husband, Thomas Pack, while he was on a helicopter training mission for the Marine Corps.
Jeri had a fulfilling career, serving as a director with the Chamber of Commerce in both Jasper, Texas, and Pompano Beach, Florida. She later worked as an administrative professional for various doctors and endodontists.
In retirement, Jeri’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active and athletic woman who loved pickleball, water aerobics, and Pilates, but her true passion was golf. She was a skilled and decorated golfer, winning numerous awards, including her flight at the Executive Women’s Golf Association National Championship. One of her proudest achievements was becoming the Berry Creek Country Club Women’s Champion.
Jeri is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Pack; their two sons, Brian and William; and her six beloved grandchildren: Zachary, Brooke, Audrey, Margaret, Kaylin, and Anderson.
