She was the beloved wife of Tex Dale Holmes, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage—a testament to enduring love, partnership, and devotion. Together they raised a family that became the center of her world.
She was Preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Margaret McBee and Bobbie Jean Cox.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Tex Dale Holmes; her sister, Jeanette Whitehead; her children, Tex Wayne Holmes, Bryant Dale Holmes, Randall Scott Holmes, and Sheryl Dean Tobler. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, each of whom carries a piece of her legacy forward.
She found joy in the simple, meaningful things in life. She especially loved quilting and gardening, hobbies that reflected her patience, creativity, and nurturing spirit. Whether stitching with care or tending to her garden, she poured love into everything she did—often creating beauty not just for herself, but for those she loved.
Her life was one of quiet grace, dedication to family, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
