Justin Andrew Benham

Justin, a Navy boy through and through, was born to Suzanne Benham Adams and Craig Benham on April 6th, 1980 in Saint Joseph, Michigan.

He attended Copperas Cove High School and the University of Phoenix before transitioning into his career in the Navy, dividing much of his life in Midland, TX and Leander, TX.

He would go on to receive numerous accolades during his military career, including three Navy and Marine Corp. Achievement medals, a Humanitarian Service Medal and other various unit and campaign awards.

Justin's interests included his family, including his wife, Cheryl Benham and his two children, Kristofer Benham and Kayleigh Benham; and basketball.

He is survived by his mother, Suzanne (Kenneth) Adams and his siblings: Kristofer Benham, Autumn Adams, Kenny Adams, and Rhiannon Adams. He is also survived by his grandfather, Rod Mayo, as well as his aunt, Cindi Robison; his cousin, Jennifer Robison; and his niece, Morgan Benham.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Mayo.

A Celebration of Life for Justin was held at Glad Tidings Church in Leander on Sunday, June 11th, 2023. Navy military honors were conducted on Friday, June 23rd, 2023 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
