Maria Otilia Guerrero Ramos, age 75, passed away peacefully October 5, 2022, due to lymphoma. She was born October 27, 1946, in Mercedes, Texas to Florentino and Leonor Guerrero as their third of fourteen children.
She loved to sew, spending time with her family, and Garfield. She was a devoted Christian and mother. For many years Mary worked for the State of Texas Health & Human Services Department, helping people in need navigate the complex red tape that is the welfare system. It suited her giving heart.
Mary is survived by her siblings Florentino Jr., Angelita, David, Mike, Dora, Isabel, Melissa, Lena, and Martha; her three children David, Angela, and Lydia; her eight grandchildren Aimee, Gerber Antonio, Alexis, Angelica, Amanda, Angela, Gerber Abiud, and Sky; and her six great-grandchildren Salvador III, Sophia, Royce, Melany, Lennox, and Trinity.
