Condolences to Nelson’s family. He was a mentor of mine at the Comptrollers office. Truly a patient man, willing to pass on knowledge. I bumped into him and his wife after he retired in front of the comptrollers office taking photos. I was honored for him to introduce me to his wife as his friend. May God rest you Soul Nelson.

I worked with Mr. Tran for many years at the State Comptroller’s office. He was a kind, gentle man and I am honored to have known him. We enjoyed conversations about current events and activities at Pflugerville High school which our children attended. My deepest sympathies to the Tran family for your loss. May the Lord give you comfort at this sad time My sincere respect and condolences,

So sorry to hear about the passing of Nelson. I worked with Nelson for many years at the State Comptroller's Office. He was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Nelson was always so soft spoken and quiet. He was super intelligent and always worked hard to resolve the programming issues that the users may have had with the computer systems we were so dependent upon. May he rest in peace and my condolences to his family.
