O'Lecia was born to M'Kayla Haydan Endres and Victor Manuel Oropeza on December 22, 2025 at St. David's Women's Hospital. Despite her short time on earth, O'Lecia was deeply loved and brought immense joy to the world. Her doctors and nurses always commented on how "feisty" she was and her inner strength. Born throwing fists, she impressed us all with her spirit. Her beauty and strength made her truly unique. Every day in the NICU was a gift; every tiny milestone, every victory, and every moment her family spent with her. Her family treasured every single second.
O'Lecia only knew warmth, love, and the sound of her parents voices and amazing nurses. She was blessed to have such a supportive team at St. David's Hospital.
Even though her time with her family was brief, O'Lecia will always be remembered as the older sister, first grandchild, first great-grandchild, and first cousin. O'Lecia made her parents a mother and a father, a bond that will last for eternity. She will always be their daughter, their angel, and a light in their lives. Though she could not stay, the love she brought will never leave.
Fly high, sweet O'Lecia. Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know.
If friends and family would like to send flowers, Kayla and Victor request potted plants and/or to send financial contributions in O'Lecia's name to Hand to Hold, a non-profit that supports families with babies in the NICU: https://handtohold.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/handtohold/neonPage.jsp?pageId=5&.
