

Anna Ella Bonenberger, 97, of Cedar Haven died Sunday, January 15, 2012 in her residence. She was the wife of the late Francis J. Bonenberger. She was born February 24, 1914 in Lebanon, a daughter of the late John and Mary Lentz Belleman. Anna’s first job was a ticket taker at the Old Allen Theater in Annville. She also worked at the North Side Five & Dime, and the Bernstein’s and Layser’s Flowers Shops. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Palmyra. She loved flowers, spending time with her family and was an avid reader. She is survived by a son, Francis J. Bonenberger, Jr. and wife Marion of Palmyra; grandchildren, John Harmuth and partner Angie of Lebanon; Pam Keller and husband Rick of Palmyra; Tim Bonenberger and wife Jody of Palmyra; Jane Ehinger and husband John of Philadelphia; Peter Bonenberger of Hershey; Anne Ewald and husband Brad of Richmond, VA; ten great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, John Harmuth, brother, Wilbur Belleman and sister, Eril Dabich. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 2 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA with a viewing beginning on Wednesday at 9:00 AM in the church. Interment will be made in the Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Cedar Haven, 590 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
