Doris M Whitman

Doris M. Whitman, 88, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, March 28th, 2017 in the Lebanon Valley Home. She was born on April 23rd, 1928 in Rexmont, a daughter of the late Frank M. and Minnie M. Fisher Whitman. Doris was the wife of the late Aaron G. Whitman who passed away on September 7, 1996. Mrs. Whitman was a member of the Quentin U.C.C. where she was an Elder, Deacon and served on various church committees. Surviving are her sons: Rev. Jeffrey A. and Randy Whitman of Ballwin, MO; Rev. Curtis E. and Pam Whitman of Greene, N.Y; Douglas C. and Leslie Whitman of Linglestown; grandchildren: Rev. Kelli Whitman and Bryan Pringle; Kendra Whitman; Taralyn Whitman; Phillip Whitman; Leanna Whitman; Alicia Whitman; Justin Whitman; great granddaughter: Abigail Pringle; brother: Carl and Joan Whitman of Las Vegas, Nevada; several nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her sister: Alma Leed; brothers: Luther and Aaron Whitman. A funeral service will be held in the Quentin U.C.C., 11 East Main, St, Quentin, PA, 17083 on Friday, March 31st, 2017 at 11:00AM with a viewing from 10:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Doris’s memory to her church.
