E. Jeanette Jenkins

E. Jeanette Jenkins age 88 of Zanesville, OH formerly of Lebanon, PA and Fosston, MN went to be with the Lord on Thursday February 17, 2011 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born March 21, 1922 in Lebanon, PA a daughter of the late Abram Hershey and Mabel Ebersole Burkholder. During her career she worked as a secretary for many companies and was a lifetime member of the Hebron United Methodist Church in Lebanon, PA, where she was very active in various ministries of the church.

She is survived by two sons Robert (Jan) Jenkins of Zanesville, and Raymond E. Jenkins of Long Beach, CA; 6 grandchildren Mark Jenkins, Cathie Jenkins, Brooke Jenkins, Heather Beck Jenkins, Lee Jenkins and Ellen Jenkins; 2 great grandchildren Alan Beck and Jami Beck; two special nieces Barbara and Kathy and several other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Jenkins; one son Richard Jenkins; 3 sisters Marie Bertha Burkholder, Anna Burkholder Bollinger and Dorothy Burkholder Bergonzi; 4 brothers Melvin Ebersole, Marlin Hershey, George Richard and Abraham Clark Burkholder.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday February 23, 2011 at the Hebron United Methodist Church in Lebanon, PA. Friends may call the hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be made in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebron United Methodist Church 451 E. Walnut St. Lebanon, PA 17042. The Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon is handling the arrangements.
