Greg, I’m not sure where to begin.. I met Greg as my team leader at radon away 3 years ago. Through a few bumps in the beginning we ended up being a good team as well as one of my best friends.  No matter what Greg was doing he would ALWAYS help someone out or listen if you needed to talk. He was the best mentor and trainer I have had and I hope he isn’t laughing too hard watching me run around like a chicken with its head cut off in his warehouse. Rest In Peace Greg. We will take good care of heather ❤️

I was stunned to hear about Greg today. I got to know Greg from RadonAway/Spruce. I always enjoyed seeing him when picking up materials. RIP brother

Well Greg. We worked together at AccuStar in the warehouse. My wife hired you in 2014 with me telling her you were the best to hire. We worked side by side for about 4 years till I retired. We had our ups and Downs but had a lot of good talks. I was glad you came over to talk after I retired to iron out stuff. I got to talk to you at the Casino over the holidays. I was so glad you got your house. All I can say Bud is R.I.P. 

Greg was the Lead in our Pennsylvania warehouse and has been a member of the extended Spruce family for over 7 years. Since I assumed the responsibility of the PA warehouse and in addition to our professional relationship, I came to know Greg on a more personal level. I enjoyed our calls and even began to look forward to them. Greg was a unique individual with many quirks that I will look back on fondly. Greg seemed to me to be a very gentle soul who, although may not have been at peace with himself, seemed content with who he was. When he spoke of his life partner, Heather, he seemed to glow a bit brighter. 

Rest in Peace my friend…you will be missed.


The Spruce Award is a program which awards a $500 bonus for typically 1-2 employees quarterly who consistently demonstrate the Spruce Values as they perform their job responsibilities in an exceptional manner. To be eligible, employees must be a full time, active employee for at least 6 months of continuous employment in good standing. We look closely at attendance as this is a pillar to strong performance and reliability.
Greg Kroah started his Spruce career as part of the shipping team in AccuStar PA in June of 2014. With his previous warehouse knowledge and experience, he quickly integrated into the daily PA operations. Greg continues to demonstrate his adaptability and reliability with the growth of the PA facility and shifting responsibilities. Greg had some key input into the initial layout of the expanded warehouse which created an efficient and effective work environment. With the introduction of Epicor, Greg quickly learned and mastered the new process without missing a step and worked to offer constructive feedback as part of the process. His greatest attributes are his daily dedication to our customers to get the job completed, on time, providing the best service possible. During transitional periods where we are short-handed, Greg steps up and shines by making sure all daily orders are processed and the warehouse running efficiently. Jeff Kaplan, Greg’s manager in the PA lab, commented that Greg is the “workhorse” in the warehouse, with a consistent and dedicated work ethic that is worthy of being nominated for the SPRUCE award.

So long my friend.  It was a long ride from second grade. RIP  I know Tim is kicking your butt right now and you're loving every minute of it!
