Janet Reed Nelson, 77, of Hill Farm Retirement Estate, Annville, died Monday, August 29, 2011 in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Jay Francis Nelson. She was born October 8, 1933 in Lebanon a daughter of the late William Albert and Virginia Harriet Hartline Reed. Janet was employed for many years with various garment factories in the Lebanon area. She was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. She was a member of the Lebanon VFW and Lebanon American Legion. She is survived by a son, Peter W. Kline. Inurnment will be held privately in the Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Lebanon Division, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603 or American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042. Rohland Funeral Home, Inc. is handling her arrangements.
