Martha J. Gibson

Martha J. Gibson, 92, Lebanon, died Friday August 27, 2010 in ManorCare, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late James R. Gibson. She was born in Lebanon on November 18, 1917 a daughter of the late Raymond S. and Lottie B. Herb Forry. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Lebanon Church of the Brethren where she was a member of the Keenagers group and she was a RSVP volunteer at Stevens Towers. She was one of the first residents at Willow Terrace and was involved in many activities there including calling bingo. She is survived by twin daughters: Mary wife of Donald Kreitzer, Lebanon; Martha wife of the late Peter Fitzgibbons, Lebanon; Patrick J. and wife Paully Gibson, Clearville; grandchildren: Jennifer Gingrich, David Kreitzer, Patrick Fitzgibbons, Patricia Gibson; great-grandchildren: Sidney Kreitzer, Zachary Gingrich, Sylvie Gingrich, Maxwell Kreitzer; also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Wanner and brother: Raymond S. Forry, Jr. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 A.M. in the Lebanon Church of the Brethren, 400 Locust St., Lebanon, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the church. Interment will be made in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Friends of all Animals, 777 N. Eighth Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046. The Rohland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
