Robert J Sentz

Robert John (“Bob”) Sentz,79, of Lebanon passed away peacefully on Friday December 15, 2023 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Lillian (Vracarich) Sentz to whom he would have been married for 53 years this upcoming January 23rd. He was the son of the late John J. and Jeanne (Daugherty) Sentz.

Bob was born on March 4, 1944 in Lebanon and was a 1962 graduate of South Lebanon High School. He was a proud steelworker and was employed at the Lebanon Steel Foundry for over 20 years and retired in 2006 from Quill/Staples. He was a loyal Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was a dog lover who enjoyed talking classic cars and reminiscing about the cars he had back in the 1960s (especially his ’66 GTO), watching his favorite teams and crime shows, spending time with family and friends and simply loved a cold beer and an easy conversation. Many will probably remember him sitting on the front porch on South 4th Street having a beer with the Phillies game on the radio on summer nights.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son, Robert Michael Sentz, and his wife Vanessa, step grandsons Ivan, Joshua and Mathew Lopez and great grandchildren Angelina and Ivan Lopez.

Services are being coordinated by Rohland Funeral Home (Lebanon/508 Cumberland Street) and are set for December 23, 2023 with visitation from 9AM, funeral service at 10AM followed by interment at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
