Colleen Anne Larivee

Colleen was born on January 19, 1978 in Rimbey, Alberta. She was the second youngest daughter of Raymond Thomas Larivee and Kathleen Mary Dille (Murray). Colleen grew up and attended school in Winfield, Edmonton, Drayton Valley, and graduated in Breton. She worked various jobs after graduation, but for most of her career she was a personal tax specialist.

Colleen met Paul McGregor in 1997 and together they had 4 sons Bryce, Brandon, Austin, and Riley; they also share 2 grandchildren Jaxson and Haydon.

Colleen loved playing games including cards, board games, scrabble, and classic Nintendo video games. Her favorite items to collect included M&Ms memorabilia and wolves. Colleen enjoyed camping, preferring a tent over a holiday trailer; often tenting in the backyard when it was too hot in the house.

Left to mourn Colleen are her sons: Brandon, Austin and Riley; grandsons: Jaxson and Haydon; mother Kathleen (Leonard) Dille; sister Doris Rust; brother Hugh Larivee; brother Gerard Larivee; sister Annette Larivee (Wade); sister Amanda (Donovan) Tindill; sister Lory (Kory) Dille; brother Tony Dille; sister Caroline (Barry) Wellings; father of her children Paul McGregor; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Colleen was predeceased by her son Bryce McGregor; infant daughter Lindsee McGregor; father Raymond Larivee; mother-in-law Yvonne McGregor, brother-in-law Don Buchanan, sister Erin Dille, and sister Paula Dille.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025 at 1:00pm at The Holiday Inn & Suites Edmonton Airport and Conference Centre at 1100 4 Street Nisku, Alberta.
