Debra Ann Giles

Debbie was born on June 23, 1955, to Bert and Doris Giles, in Fort Smith, NWT.

She worked as a parts person for the majority of her career, working with various automotive dealers in and around Edmonton.

She was an avid swimmer and achieved a great many distinctions in lifesaving and diving. In her younger years she was very active in sports, including track and field as well as softball. She also attended the University of Alberta and obtained her Bachelor of Education degree.

Debbie is survived by her mother, Doris; brother, Jim; brother-in-law Howard; niece Lindsay; nephew Jason; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. She is predeceased by her sister Wendy and father Bert.

Debbie is to be cremated and there will be no formal service. Donations to any animal shelter in her memory are welcomed.
