Two months ago today, you passed away.
I think about you every day.
Your light shines bright long after you're gone.
My heart is broken but life goes on.
Although you're no longer here with me,
You live in my heart and in my memories.

I was saddened to hear about loosing my first cousin. To all of her family including all of Dolores brothers and sisters I am sending you love and light during this dark time. May you cherish her memories forever. My thought and prayers are with all of you. I only heard of her passing yesterday. It is hard to believe as she is only 2 weeks older than I am. Even though I knew her days were numbered the end came to fast. I was in the USA from June 24th to July 28th So sorry, I would have come to her service had I been home.

So saddened by the loss of Dolores. She was taken much too soon and we will miss her dearly. She showed us the way in life through her example. She was so compassionate, supportive,  devoted, hardworking and forgiving. I will always treasure the times we spent together; whether it was shopping, gardening, family celebrations, traveling, or the laughter we shared over a cup of coffee!

Shane, Melissa & Jeremy have fond memories of family times we shared. They were always excited to go to Auntie Dolores & Uncle Ed's house during Christmas holidays; wondering what new video games or Backstreet Boys cd's awaited them there! Or having sleepovers, then waking up to Aunties french toast; just to name a few. 

So grateful that our families have so many wonderful memories. Our love & support will always be here for you.

Deepest condolences to Ed and family, also to my cousins Rick, Jerry, Denis, Gord, Linda, Marilyn, Irene, Emily and their families. Thinking of you all.

The Gillespie's have known Dolores for only the past two years through the marriage of our daughter Megan to Cody. They accepted us into their family as their own. She was a very beautiful person and will be sorely missed. Our condolences to the family and friends. Know that a part of her survives in her grand daughter Isabella. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Auntie  Dolores, God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be. So He closed His arms around you and whispered " Come to Me" You didn't deserve what you went through, so God gave you a rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best! And now that you are resting, so peaceful, free from pain. We could not wish you back, to suffer that again. Love you Auntie what a beautiful loving soul......I'll miss you. So greatful the time we shared and the memories that were made.

My hearts and prayers are with all. May you find comfort in one  another during this difficult time.

Dolores was one of those special people who always made life a little lighter and brighter for everybody around her.  She will be sorely missed, and our hearts go out to Ed, Amanda, Cody, Brandy.

Dolores you were the best of us.  Your door and your arms were always open for all of us.  You were our example and our champion whenever we needed you.  You saw us all for who we were - and loved us anyhow.  

While I won't be able to enjoy a coffee and a visit - You will continue to be ever present in my life when I have tough choices to make, I will still think, what would Dolores do? and I know you will be there making sure I make the good choice.

When my brother, John, married your sister, Lorraine, you and Dolores immediately became part of our extended family as you always went the extra mile to make us feel so comfortable.  Jerry & I were very fortunate to be able to spend time with you both on several occasions, especially camping last year where we shared so many laughs & good times together!  Although your Light seems as though it has gone out at this time Ed, it will always be there beside you every day in every way!!!  Treasure your memories and allow them to sustain all of you through your darkest times.

When Dolores became a member of our family 40 years ago we were all truly blessed. As a wife, mother and recent grandmother, she so deeply loved each role, her loving commitment was so strong - what a beautiful gift to leave her family.
We had the honor of having Dolores as our "special sister" all these years, raising our families together, spending holidays and special occasions together, and the amazing closeness that grew. She will forever be in our hearts and may one day your pain ease so that your lives will carry on with your Special Guardian Angel in your hearts.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend.  It was so nice to see Dolores at the Cactus Lake Reunion last July.  We were neighbors on the farm growing up, good school friends and she was my second cousin.

 While we have lost such an incredible and special person, she is now a very special and beautiful Angel in Heaven looking down at all of us. 

My most sincere condolences go out to all of you; may you cherish and remember all the moments, special times, laughter, memories and love you shared with Dolores.
