Elizabeth Fedor

January 8, 1928 – January 14, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Fedor announces her passing on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at the age of 87 years.

Elizabeth was born in Calmar, AB; eldest child of Harry & Mary Borys.

She is survived by her four children; Dianne, Vernon (Sherrill), Glenn (Katrina), Larry; grandchildren Amanda (Mike), Jennilynne (Justin) Sullivan, Devon (Renee), Dana (Sara), Ashley, Derek, Andrew (Emma) and Megan (Alec); great-grandchildren Rowan and Sadie Sullivan; sister Irene Chrunik; aunt Francis Chimera; sister-in-law Margaret Borys; goddaughter Lana Fedor; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Simon, brother George Borys, brother-in-law Alex Chrunik, and brother-in-law Eugene Fedor.

Prayers will be held on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church, Hwy 19 west of Range Road 254, Nisku at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Rite will follow on Thursday January 22, 2015 at 10:00 am with Very Reverend Igor Kisil officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to St. Mary’s Russian Orthodox Church or to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
