Gladys Lillian Anne Kuzyk

Our dear Gladys……..Mother, Grandmother, Aunty and loyal friend, was a precious and loving soul and the “glue” that kept her family and friends together. On April 19/2023 she left this life to join her beloved husband and daughter, Nick and Wanda forever.

As the oldest sister and longest living of her 4 siblings, she blessed us all with her loving and beautiful presence.

Gladys had 3 children, Gerry (Sandi), Judy, and Wanda. She was blessed with 3 wonderful grandchildren, Maegan (Scott), Melissa and Richard (Jill) who were her never ending joy. As well as her many nieces and nephews. This was shown when her younger sister, Lorraine, passed and Auntie Gladys “slipped into her shoes”, especially for her niece Joni (Rick).

Gladys worked at the Cheese Factory in Thorsby with her husband Nick, the Fairview Drugstore, and later as the compassionate and caring secretary at Leduc’s Willow Park School.

She loved and cherished her involvement in the community thru the United Church, Elks Lodge, and Royal Purple for many years.

The family wishes to extend their special thanks to Dr Dhinsa and to Salem Manor and their fantastic staff who cared for and treated Gladys as family.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 16, 2023 at the Denham Inn in the Marquis Room, 5207 - 50th Avenue Leduc at 2:00 pm
