Joan Darlene Sabine

Born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Joan was the daughter of the late Wendell and Gladys Doyle. She was also predeceased by her oldest brother, Lloyd Doyle.

Joan was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Kent Sabine; her children, Amanda Scott and Keith Sabine; and her brothers, Wendell Doyle and Caius Doyle and their families.

Joan dedicated many years to raising her children as a loving stay-at-home mom. She had a warm and thoughtful nature that touched everyone she met. Joan especially enjoyed golfing and curling, both of which brought her joy and lasting friendships. She enjoyed and was recognized for volunteering in the communities she lived. She had an adventurous spirit for trying new things like paragliding in her younger days. Later in life she worked as a valued customer service representative until her retirement.

In accordance with Joan’s wishes, no service will be held.

Joan received compassionate, professional care at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, and the family is grateful for the support she received there.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
