John Gillis, of Thorsby, Alberta passed away peacefully in Devon, Alberta on January 22, 2017.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Eunice;
children Leanne (Rob Tessier), Johnie (Wendy), Lenore (Jason Pizzey), Jason (Jody), and Lindsey (Tyler George);
13 grandchildren; brother Donnie Gillis (Betty); sisters Phyllis Curley and Arlita Hickey (Jim); and sister-in-law Susan.
John is predeceased by his daughter Leona; brothers Eugene, Jim and Carl; and brother-in-law Austin.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Victory Church, Thorsby, on Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers donations to either the Thorsby Seniors Building Fund or
to Our Lady of Victory Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
