Josephine Joyce Hier

Josephine Hier (nee Blondheim) of Leduc, Alberta, former residents of Thorsby, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025 at the age of 85 years. She will be remembered for her patience and kindness she shared with everyone whose lives she touched.

Josephine's legacy will be carried on through her daughter in law Cheryl; and grandchildren Mark and Natalya. Memories of Josephine will also be cherished by numerous relatives, friends and students.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband Lyle; daughter Colleen; and son, Jonathan.

Cremation has taken place. At Josephine's request, a formal service will not be held. In celebration of Josephine's life, enjoy a cup of tea, read an interesting book, or play a competitive game of cards.
