

Lee-Anne is survived by her loving husband Dennis; daughter Bonnie; son Randy; sister Lynndie; sisters-in-law Patricia and Sonia (John), and many very, very close friends. She was predeceased by her father Fred and mother Eva.
Lee-Anne was born in Edson, Alberta to Fred and Eva Dzuris. Lee-Anne and her younger sister Lynndie grew up on the farm near MacKay and attended school in Niton Junction. She helped her father on the farm and enjoyed curling and playing ball.
After graduating high school Lee-Anne began working in Edmonton. Here she met Dennis Plican and they began their 47 year long relationship. Dennis and Lee-Anne were married in 1990 and bought their acreage in Leduc County. Here they raised their two children, Bonnie and Randy. Lee-Anne was heavily involved in the community and in Bonnie and Randy’s extracurricular activities and sports.
As the kids grew older she began to sub as an educational assistant at Linsford Park School, later becoming the librarian and then head secretary. She retired in June 2024 and was looking forward to having more time to volunteer within the community.
Lee-Anne loved being outside, spending many days on the boat, fishing, camping, gardening, and at car show & shines. She brought so much happiness and laughter everywhere she went, and had many close lifelong friends. Lee-Anne always went out of her way to help everyone and was such a hardworking and thoughtful person. She is so deeply missed.
Friends and family of Lee-Anne are invited to a Celebration of her life at 11am on February 22, 2025 at the rural Telford Community Hall, 48142 Range Road 262, Leduc County, AB.
