Leonel Joseph Theberge

Sept 10, 1949 – Nov 2, 2013, age 64 years

It's with great sadness and relief that our Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend lost his amazing battle with pancreatic cancer on Saturday morning November 2, 2013 with his wife by his side and smile on his face. The angels arrived and took him home to his long awaiting mother and father, although he will be greatly missed in person. There is no doubt that he will remain forever with us in our hearts and soul (and probably a bit of mischievous as well).

He is predeceased by his mother Jeanne (1956) his father Henri (1983) and chosen brother Albert Anctil (2011), in-laws Edward (1982) and Isobel (2008) Acheson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Gail, daughter Theresa (Scott), son Daniel, grandchildren Levi, Jack and Isobel. Dear friend and sister-in-law Mary, special cousins Rollande Rak (John) and Paul Turgeon(Jean), numerous relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral will be held Tuesday November 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 5105 45 A Street, Leduc Alberta. There will be an open casket 1 hour prior to service

A special thanks to the nurses and staff of Leduc Palliative Care Unit 22, Dr. Dr. Holden, Dr A DuToit, whose tender care helped him through this trying time.
