Patricia McEwan

September 7, 1940 – January 20, 2018

It is with deep Sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mum Patricia McEwan on Saturday January 20th in Leduc Alberta. Pat was 77 years old. She left this world peacefully and surrounded by her loving family.

Pat will be so dearly missed by her family; Her Sister Ella Stuart of Glasgow Scotland, sons, Alex (Dionne) McEwan and Brian (Wenda) McEwan of Leduc, daughter Patricia (Gregg) Bassendowske of Calgary, and her nine grandchildren Sarah, Brian, Ian, Lauren, Matthew, Molly, Julie, Natalie, and Michael

She was pre-deceased by her Husband Alex, Daughter Maureen, Sister Maureen and Parents Helen and Jack.

Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered as a strong, caring, and nurturing woman whose sense of humour made everyone around her feel at ease. Pat’s loving kindness and compassion will live on through her friends and family who had the pleasure to know her. We are comforted to know she is now reunited with her Alex, Maureen and so many other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 26th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 5105 - 45A Street, Leduc, Interment of the urn will follow at Leduc Cemetery.
