Robert Wesley Scott

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Wesley Scott on April 14, 2025, at the age of 81 years.

Bob was a kind and compassionate man, known for his unwavering desire to help others. For 40 years, he was a proud member of Optimist International and an active member of the Black Gold Optimist Club of Leduc. Bob’s warmth and generosity made him beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Born into a large family of twelve siblings, Bob cherished the bonds of family and community throughout his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Donna, and his cherished blended family - children: Laura (Kris), Jim (Karrie), Rhonda (Brian), Kathi (Kelly), and Steve (Coral); grandchildren: Karli, Taylor, Andrea, Katie, Kimberly, Matthew, Savanah, Kael, Lucas, Dominique, Jessica, and Connor; great-grandchildren: Daviah, Jaxon, and Archer; siblings: Aileen, Mary, Judy and Carolyn; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, Earle and Margaret Scott; his sister, Betty; and brothers: Ian, Jim, John, Dave, Peter, and Paul.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Bob’s memory to the Parkinson Association of Alberta
