Annie was a graduate of Shades Valley High School. She was a founding member of New Century Independent Church in Leeds. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Edward Gosnell Sr.; her brothers Dale Standifer and Arthur Clinton Standifer; and her parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Thomas Standifer.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who was loved by many and will be deeply missed. She is survived by: her children: Edward Gosnell, Evelyn Cooley (Phillip), James Thomas Gosnell Sr. (Rebecca), and Suzy Wilkerson (Randy); her 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her brothers: William Standifer (Dorothy) and Presley Standifer (Jane).
The Family will receive friends Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 5:00PM until 8:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL.
Funeral Services will be Monday, May 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bold Springs Cemetery.
