Arlene Bunt Cooke

Arlene Bunt Cooke earned her wings to glory on 17, May 2026. She was born November 23, 1955 in Pell City where she spent her childhood. She is preceded in death by her special grandmother, Mama Bunt; parents, Harold and Mary Bunt and sister, Vickey Castleberry.

Arlene is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Cooke; daughters Amy Ivey (John), Cece Cooke; son, David Alan Cooke (Kaila); grandchildren, David Billings, Joey Ivey, Michael Cooke, Eli Cooke and Savannah Cooke; great grands, Kaylee Wilson and Harley Rider; sisters, Janet Poe, Sandra Bagley (Danny), Carolyn Blankenship (Donald); brother, Harlan Bunt; sisters in law, Maxine Cooke, Marjorie Cooke; brothers in law, Sidney Castleberry and Tom Cooke (Ilene). She was loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

If you knew Arlene she was love as noted in her favorite Bible Verse, John 3:16, she will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. She will lie in state from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 11:00AM with burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Ragland.
