Bethany Ann Hartsfield

Bethany A. Hartsfield, age 46, of Leeds, Alabama, passed away February 12, 2012 peacefully at home. Miss Hartsfield was preceded in death by her father, Chester F. Hartsfield, and her brother, Chet Hartsfield. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn W. Hartsfield; sisters Brenda Hudson (Tony), and Barbara Martin (Mike); sister-in-law Sandra McGuire (Ted); nephews Nick Hudson, John Hudson, Jacob Hudson (Brittany), Lee McGuire, and Michael Martin; nieces Rachel Hudson, Lindsay Hartsfield, Lacey Bell (David), and Melissa Martin; great nephews, Landon Hudson and Tucker Bell.

Beth loved babies and animals. She attended Glen Iris Baptist School for many years where she received the highest academic honor award numerous times. Beth also enjoyed Camp Sumatanga Special Camp and participated in Special Olympics. She was a member of Leeds First United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held at Leeds First United Methodist Church on Monday, February 13, 2012 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral Service will be held at Leeds First United Methodist Church, at 10am on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Rev. Chip Vann will be officiating.
