A member of First Baptist Church - Leeds, served in the U.S. Air Force worked 23 years at Universal Atlas Cement in Leeds and retired from OSHA.
Mr. Alverson is survived by his wife Martha Davis Alverson, 1 Son; Jeffrey Lee Alverson (Susan) 3 Grandchildren; Lindsey Leonard (Jonathan), William Flinkow (Jana) and Katie Lucas (Josh); 2 Great Grandchildren; Avery Leonard and Grant Leonard
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Kilgroe Funeral Home- Leeds at 11:00AM with interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday November 21, 2011 at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds from 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First Baptist Church of Leeds music fund or the Global Mission fund at First Baptist Church of Leeds.
