She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Lee Gomer; son, John Edward Gomer; Grandchildren, Curtis Daniel Colburn, Casey Lee Miles, Stephanie Charlotte Lamberth; father, John Cason Heath.

Mrs. Gomer is survived by her daughters, Crystal Parks, Karen Lamberth (Ronnie), Carla Gomer, Brandi Gomer; son, Curtis Gomer (Kim); mother, Helen Brown; sisters, Yvonne Singleton, Theresa Kelley, Alice Kelley, Peggy Richardson, Edna Driver; brothers, Coy Heath, Clyde Heath, David Heath; grandchildren, Krystal Morehead, Megan Reynolds, Justin Gomer, Trishtain Hart, Amber Horsely, Allison Colburn, Shae McCay, Jessica Gomer, Taylor Gomer, Erik Lamberth, Charlie Lamberth; 11 great-grandchildren.

She lived in Irondale, Al, was a very hard worker at Jones Stephens plumbing supply. She worked 27 years at St Martin’s in the Pines as a private nurse. She was a member of Sharing the Word Independent Church in Irondale. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and the most fabulous cook.

Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2015 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds from 6PM until 8PM.

Funeral Services will be at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 1PM with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
