Cletus L. Atchley

Cletus L. “Clete” Atchley, 1950 ~ 2010, of Springville, AL passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 to be with his Lord and Savior. Clete was a member of Low Gap Methodist Church, where he loved to sing for the congregation and also sang for several area nursing homes. He retired from O’Neal Steel after 36 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Margie K. Atchley; daughters, Pamela Jo Black (Bobby), Pattie Ann McDonald (Scott), Jennifer Atchley Haynes; sisters, Linda Mezick, Nancy Moore(Peanut), Kathryn Cowan Davis (Larry); brother, Lowell ”Bo” Atchley; grandchildren, Kaci Parvin, Ed Foust, Lillian “Lilli” Haynes and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Atchley and father, Ocie Lee Atchley; brothers, James Atchley and Clifford Atchley.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jimmie Harvey and all of his staff, the staff in radiation and all the nurses and PCA’S on the fifth floor at Trinity Hospital for their caring and giving support during a difficult time.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home-Leeds Chapel. Burial will follow at Low Gap Cemetery in Odenville.
