Cynthia Moffett

Cynthia Ellen Ritter Moffett, 53, of Odenville, AL passed away on December 2, 2021. Born in New Orleans, Cindy spent most of her life in the Birmingham area. She graduated from UAB with a degree in Criminal Justice and retired after 33 years from the Hoover Police Department where she served as a 911 Dispatcher and a Systems Coordinator. Cindy is survived by her husband of 30 years Robert Douglas Moffett, her children Michael Spencer Moffett and Lauren Alexa Moffett, mother Susan Craft Vickerstaff, father David Ritter (Jill), brother Michael Ritter (Louise), nephew Cole Ritter, niece Clara Kate Ritter, and her aunt and Godmother Cynthia Ellen Craft. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her miniature Schnauzers Izzy and Misty.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 1334 Montevallo Road, Leeds AL 35094. Visitation will begin at 12:15 with Service at 1:00. Celebrants at the service will be two of her uncles: The Rev. John Craft and The Rev. Stephen Craft. Masks and distancing requested.
