Mrs. Pond was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Smothers.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Pond, daughter, Donya Mulkey (James), son, Michael Pond (Susan), grandchildren, Elisha and Douglas Mulkey and Grayson Pond, sisters, Sandra Waldman (Johnny), Glenda Gilham (Harold), brothers, Kenneth Smothers and Dennis Smothers, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 30, 2012 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
