Dewey Hess, age 82 of Odenville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2021. Mr. Hess was a Deacon Emeritus at New Life Baptist Church as well as a greeter. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Billie Hess, two sons, John Hess and Keith Hess, one sister, Honey Horton and two adopted grandchildren, Taylor Brown and Logan Brown. Services for Mr. Hess will be on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at New Life Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the service to follow at 4:00 PM. Burial will follow at Low Gap Cemetery in Odenville, Alabama. Services are directed by Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094.
