Edith Horton "Honey", age 81, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Horton; father, John Hess; mother, Claude Hess; sister, Peggy Bragg and her husband, Gerald; and brother, Dewey Hess.
Honey is survived by her son, Larry Thomas Horton, Jr. (Regina); daughter, Lisa Messner (Jeff) and son, Lynn Horton (Stacy); grandchildren, Hunter Horton, Harlie St. John (Robert), Jorden Messner, Taylor Messner (Renee), Jacob Messner, Bailey Horton, and Mallory Horton; great grandchildren, Ella Grace Horton, Ian and Emmett Messner, and Amelia St. John.; sisters, Ann Resha and Billie Hess.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 12:00PM until 1:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Pleasant Mount Cemetery in Remlap, Alabama.
