Emaline Ryan Parker

Emaline Ryan Parker, age 91 of Leeds, AL passed away July 9, 2016. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Thea G. Parker. They were owners of Parker Rexall Drugs in Leeds for over 50 years. She was a member of Leeds First United Methodist Church, Joy Sunday School Class, Spice of Life, Billye Ann's Bunch Travel Club and Jefferson County Pharmaceutical Association. Mrs. Parker graduated from Leeds High School and Howard College (Samford University). She taught at Leeds High School until her retirement.

Mrs. Parker is survived by 3 daughters, Emalyn O'Barr (Jim), Susan Lee (Bobby), Mary Cobb (Dud); son, Gray Parker (Ame); grandchildren, Emily Isenhower, Brant O’Barr(Stephanie), Parker O’Barr, Hugh Lee (Jaime), Susanne Moore (Judd), Maribeth Harris (Brandon), Trey Cobb, Grayson Parker, Mary Katherine Parker, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sister Billye Ann Faulkner (Carlton); nephew Jim Faulkner (Tammy); niece, Sherelyn Welch (Don)

Pall Bearers are Brant O’Barr, Hugh Lee, Trey Cobb, Parker O’Barr, Grayson Parker, Jim Faulkner, Brandon Harris, and Judd Moore.

We thank St Vincent’s Home Health and Hospice and our wonderful caregivers: Diane Bice, Mona Campbell, Heather Henderson, Yo Jackson, Lynn McCurry, Joyce Newman and Carolyn Quick for the excellent care they gave.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Leeds First United Methodist Church at 3:00PM with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 1:00PM until 3:00PM.
