Essie Nell Driggers

Essie Nell Driggers (Mama Nell)of Vincent,Alabama went to her eternal home in glory on Saturday October 26th 2024, at the age of 101. She was surrounded by her family holding hands in prayer and playing her favorite hymns softly in the background. Mama Nell was truly a treasured angel here on earth that made a valuable impact on countless lives. She shared her love for the Lord with everyone she encountered and had a true servant’s heart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ida(Mama Harris) and Rufus(Big Daddy)Harris, husband, James Driggers, son, Tony Driggers(Lancey) grandson, Ken Driggers, along with three sisters and four brothers. Mama Nell is survived by her son, Don Driggers(Ruth), grandson, Rodney Driggers(Melinda), granddaughter, Mia Kimble(Ralph),great grandchildren, Sherree Hood(Leslie), Megan Kimble, Chad Driggers(Danielle), Shea Driggers, Laci Stokes(Eric), Kenny Driggers(Haley), Roxxy Stracener(Coleman), and her great great grandchildren: Natalie, Rylan & Finley Hood, Zoey & Wesson Wade, Harper, Hudson, Harrison & Hazel Driggers, Nellie Driggers, Kenzie, Sawyer & River Stokes, as well as her closest friend and caregiver, Charlotte Howard and her special friends, Lorrie Bowlin and Jared Musgrove. Mama Nell had an entire host of nieces, nephews and friends that loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the Vincent Revival Center from 12:30PM until 2:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the Vincent Revival Center beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
