She is preceded in death by her husband, Owen L, Layfield.
She is survived by her son, Jim L, Layfield (Becky); daughter, Sandy L. Thomas (Ray); 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 22, 2018 from 9AM to 10AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with a graveside to follow at 10AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
