Mr. Cooke started WURL Radio Station in Moody, AL and was a former TV Newsman in Chattanooga for 16 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Jean Renee Eldridge, son, Hubert Raymond Cooke Jr., sister, Linda Maureen Harrison (Bobby), grandchild, Brandon Lee Eldridge, nephews, Allen Shea Brownlee and Brandon Wayne Brownlee.
Funeral Services were held Friday, April 25, 2014 at 2 PM at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel with burial at Cook Springs Cemetery.
