James retired from Northcutt Thornton Paving after 28 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his sons: Cecil Wayne, Danny Ray, & Roy Leverne Davis; grandson, Kenneth Wideman.
Cecil was survived by his wife of 63 years, Bernice Davis; daughters: Venita Wideman, Jamie Trussel; son Larry Davis; sisters: Mary Nell McKinney, Rosie Lee Wiggins; brother, James W. Davis; 9 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
The Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 6:00PM until 9:00 PM. At Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale, AL.
